On October 18, 2022, the Blackjack Wing’s special teams competed in the Bonanza Drill & PT Meet. Our Unarmed Drill Team, Color Guard Team, and PT Team competed with many schools in and around the valley. Each team trained and practiced for months leading up to each respective event such as unarmed regulation, color guard regulation, a two-mile run, and tug-o’-war. Special mentions to our lovely Color Guard Team, who placed 4th in Color Guard regulation, and to C/AB Sharon Mendez, who placed 8th in the female category for the two-mile run! Congratulations to all of the cadets that participated, especially as it was the first time for many of them!
