Bataan Death March
On Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 29 cadets volunteered to travel out to Red Rock Canyon. These cadets hiked over fifteen miles to honor those who forcefully participated in the Bataan Death March. Cadets trekked through a physically demanding scenic trail with steep elevations and rocky terrain, spanning across the canyon. They were treated to a mid-trail lunch consisting of MREs in order to prepare for the last leg of the hike. A group of cadets ran the last four miles of mixed terrain. In total, 25 cadets earned the Bataan Death March Memorial hike ribbon for completing the entire 15+ mile loop.
