Bataan Death March

On April 8th, 2023, the Blackjack Wing’s cadets partook in the annual Bataan Death March. The march honors the American POWs of the Japanese during WWII who were forced to walk over 65 miles. POWs were subject to physical abuse, dehydration, starvation, and much worse.

The cadets marched about 15 miles on the Red Rock Grand Canion Loop, taking a break 10 miles in to eat MREs supplied by the Marines who hiked with them.
